About Us
Our business began as a webdesign firm in May 1999. By the year 2000 we were reselling hosting services along with our design services. We began using cPanel during this time, a time when this control panel was only available to a very small group of hosting providers.
By the end of 2000 we felt we could manage our customer websites easier by cutting out the middle man and setting up our own servers. In February 2001 we launched our hosting services under the name HostMagik. After several years of success we began with plans on introducing more services to our offerings.
In early 2008, following 2 years of dedicated planning, we rebranded our services under the name Host Discovery -- a name that we've had plans for since the launch of HostMagik in 2001. We are now offering 2 new services - Reseller Hosting and Dedicated Servers.
After 8 years, we are proud to have survived the many changes and challenges the hosting industry has been through. We continue to be strong, reliable and most important, caring. We work hard to provide the best levels of service possible to all our customers.

Network Information
Our servers are located at a state-of-the-art data center facility located in Dallas, Texas USA. The data center provides 24/7/365 redundant monitoring capabilities from two Network Operations Center (NOC) locations, staffed by certified system administrators and security professionals.
The network architecture utilizes the Enterprise routing and switching engines from Juniper and Cisco. The network is fully meshed and redundant with several backbone providers.
